Despite the name, Clean Peptides Lab runs no assays and holds no certification. It reads the published literature on purity, testing and quality signals so a visitor doesn't have to dig through it alone.
What this site is
Clean Peptides Lab is an independent literature digest covering three research peptides — GHK-Cu, ipamorelin and tesamorelin — organized around one question: what does the term "lab-grade" actually mean when the published research is read carefully, rather than taken from a product page. The name is deliberately literal about its limits: this is a desk that reads laboratory research, not a laboratory itself. Nothing here has been tested, verified or certified by this site.
How this site is built
Every quantitative claim on this site — a percentage, an effect size, a sample size, a duration — is traced to a specific numbered source on the references page. Where the literature reports an anecdotal, community-sourced observation rather than a controlled finding, this site labels it plainly as anecdotal, not clinical evidence, and never attaches a dose to it. Where a finding comes from an animal or cell study rather than a human trial, the species or model is stated rather than implied. This site does not commission new research, run tests, or verify vendor claims; it reads and reports on research that has already been published.
What this site does not do
This is not a store, a pharmacy, or a clinic, and it does not sell peptides or recommend a supplier. It never recommends a human dose — where a study's dose appears in the text, it is reported exactly as the study used it, not as guidance for a reader. It does not run purity testing, hold a laboratory certification, or verify any vendor's chromatography results; where the word "lab-grade" is discussed, it is discussed as a term used in the market and in the literature, not as a claim this site is making about any product.
Editorial stance on 'lab-grade' claims
This site treats "lab-grade" and similar phrases as marketing language until a specific, citable study backs a claim. A chromatography certificate can support a narrow statement about one batch on one day; it cannot substitute for a controlled human trial, and it is not the same guarantee as an FDA drug approval. Tesamorelin's approved-drug status, GHK-Cu's cosmetic-ingredient standing, and ipamorelin's unapproved research-chemical status are three different regulatory positions, and this site tries to keep that distinction visible on every page rather than flattening all three into one undifferentiated "peptide" category.
